Since 1889, CSS has been privileged to decorate and restore churches of all sizes and styles throughout the country. Our experienced staff assists projects in the early stages to help assemble the master plan, communicate the vision and generate the enthusiasm and funding needed to make the plan a reality. Some of the tools used to accomplish these goals include renderings, on-site samples, budgetary estimates and fundraising materials.
Our comprehensive scope of services allows us to be a single source for a variety of needs, creating the best projects in terms of function, longevity and aesthetics. Our services include the investigation and documentation of original decorative schemes, gilding, glazing, marbleizing, stenciling, trompe l’oeil and faux finishing.
Recent decorating commissions include the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Springfield, IL; St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, Abbeville, LA; St. Joseph Cathedral, Sioux Falls, SD; and St. John Neumann Catholic Church, Knoxville, TN.
