Theological College is the national seminary for Latin rite diocesan seminarians enrolled at The Catholic University of America. Seminarians receive their human, spiritual and pastoral formation at Theological College and earn degrees in philosophy and theology at Catholic University. Theological College was founded by the priests of the Society of St. Sulpice in 1917. The seminary is owned and administrated by the Sulpician Fathers who conduct the formation program for seminarians guided by the norms of the recently updated 5th edition of the Program of Priestly Formation. Through the university, Theological College offers programs in pre-theology, theology and a special three-year scholarship program in philosophy for college-age seminarians.
