Food For The Poor is the 2nd largest international relief organization in the United States, aiding the destitute of sixteen countries in the Caribbean and Latin America through churches and missionaries. Since its founding in 1982, FFP has sent over 43,900 containers of assistance valued over $4.5 billion to the region, and maintains an operating expense ratio under 4%. Food For The Poor provides food, housing, healthcare, water projects, education, emergency-relief and micro-enterprise assistance to hundreds of thousands of the poor in the region.
